Montreal Canadiens Coach is benching one of their top players!

Christian Dvorak has been let's say "less than stellar" since arriving in Montreal.

#Habs Dvorak is wearing a navy jersey along with Pitlick and Pezzetta, suggesting he's sitting tonight. Poehling is in a regular white jersey, so it appears he'll play vs NJD. @TSN_Edge— John Lu (@JohnLuTSNMtl) February 8, 2022

The cost to acquire Dvorak from the Coyotes was high:
"Traded from Arizona Coyotes to Montreal Canadiens for conditional round 1 pick in the 2022 draft and round 2 pick in the 2024 draft"

So when you give up a first and second round pick for a player, you expect him to be producing more than .47 points per game. Which is lower than his points-per-game percentage as an Arizona Coyote! (.55)
