Death of former coach and scout of Montreal Canadiens shocks sports world

Adrian Dater, a prominent Colorado Avalanche journalist, revealed the sad passing of a former employee of the Montreal Canadiens and other organizations.
"RIP to former Avs video coach Scott Masters. Scott also worked in the Florida, St. Louis and Montreal organizations.»
- Adrian Dater
The other teams besides the Avs and Habs that benefited from Masters' talents were the Florida Panthers and the St. Louis Blues, as he worked as their video coach from 2001 to 2013. He then spent the next six seasons working as a scout for the Canadiens, and Masters once said it was thanks to GM Doug Armstrong that he was able to really flourish in the scouting industry.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the entire Masters family. It is always tough losing a family member, but this one stings even more because of how young Masters was. He is no doubt looking down on everyone from above, and likely still taking some notes on the game from the heavens.
