Matthew Tkachuk Rubs Salt In The Boston Bruins' Wounds
Matthew Tkachuk is known for stirring the pot in the NHL, and he has done just that with his recent comments directed at the Boston Bruins.
Tkachuk Takes Shot at Bruins In Comments About Upcoming Season
The players and media are out in full swing as the NHL Player Media Tour kicked off in Vegas recently. ESPN's Kristen Shilton and Greg Wyshynski took their chance with Matthew Tkachuk to ask him who he was excited to watch this upcoming season, and he didn't shy away in his answer.
"I'm excited to see what Boston does after their season last year, how they follow that one up."
Tkachuk Not One to Shy Away from Drama in the NHL
Tkachuk has never been one to shy away from the drama, and it looks like he is stirring the pot once again with these comments. Obviously, he could have meant anything by them, but it's hard not to think about what happened to the Bruins last season.
He is quite likely referencing the fact that the Bruins had a historic regular season and then choked to his team the Florida Panthers in the playoffs, blowing a 3-1 series lead. I'm not sure that Bruins fans will take lightly to these sly words from Tkachuk.
