Vancouver Canucks forward Filip Chytil is calling out Olympics coach Radim Rulik for comments he made that he say hurt his family.

Vancouver Canucks forward Filip Chytil, who was acquired last year from the New York Rangers in the JT Miller trade, was hurt in just his sixth game of the season after being concussed by Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson.
He's not played since then, but is close to a return and has been practicing. But he was not included on the Team Czechia roster for the Olympics, and he's got a bone to pick with Czechia Olympics coach Radim Rulik.
In Chytil's opinion, Rulik made comments that upset his family.
I wanted to go [to the Olympics], and I would be very proud to represent my country. But you know, sometimes the situation is like this. But, like I said, there was something said in a press conference by our head coach [of the] Czech national team who said some stuff and made some statements which were not true and which were a little bit made up. I never got the call from him and he said some stuff which hurt my family and hurt me as well a lot because it's not true at all.

And it puts me in a bad situation mentally, you know, and even my whole family. So I'm just not happy about that. But you know, I'm focusing a lot on my recovery here now and for Canucks because Olympics is not possible now. But yeah, I'm just focusing now on coming back here and playing as best as I can. - Filip Chytil

Czechia catch Radim Rulik had this to say about Chytil earlier in the month:
The predictions were that he would play two weeks ago, but he hasn't played yet. For us, it's an option only if someone falls out of the selection. - Radim Rulik

Filip Chytil Has Not Played Since October

Chytil was hurt after being leveled with a questionable hit by Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson, who has been fined and suspended multiple times in his NHL career for similar actions.
Chytil was off to a good start in what was to be his first full year in a Canucks sweater, scoring three goals in his first six games before getting hurt.
In 399 career NHL games, Chytil has 173 points (80G, 93A).
