Moritz Seider addressed the noise around Detroit while Dylan Larkin was mysteriously left off the team's NHL 27 ratings graphic.

This deepened questions about the captain's future.
The Red Wings dropped a promotional post this week showing off player ratings from the upcoming EA Sports NHL 27 game.
Lucas Raymond, Alex DeBrincat and Moritz Seider were all featured at 89 overall, with goaltender John Gibson listed at 85.
Dylan Larkin, Detroit's captain and a player who carries that same 89 rating, was nowhere to be found.
Fans caught it almost instantly.
Given everything swirling around Larkin this offseason, the timing felt impossible to ignore.
He requested a trade back in June after Detroit missed the playoffs for a tenth straight season, and the front office still has not found a deal that gets it done.

Seider addresses the noise

Speaking during the NHL and NHLPA European Player Media Tour in Munich, Seider acknowledged that plenty remains unsettled in Detroit without directly naming Larkin.
He made clear those decisions sit above his role, but admitted the uncertainty is impossible to fully tune out even from thousands of miles away.
Seider also touched on what still makes the organization special to him, pointing to the fans and the building itself as reasons he cannot wait to get back.
"There's so much about this club that makes it so special. You get reminded every time you walk into that precious building playing in front of great fans that are dying for that sport. I think that's what I'm most excited about coming back, is playing in front of the fans."

What comes next for Detroit

The Red Wings remain without a general manager after Steve Yzerman stepped into an advisory role, leaving interim staff to manage day to day operations.
Minnesota has emerged as the most realistic trade partner for Larkin, though talks have reportedly stalled.
Until that changes, every small signal, even a video game graphic, gets magnified around a captain whose situation refuses to settle down.

Do you think leaving Larkin off the ratings post was intentional?
