Tonight Jaromir Jagr's special night hit an awkward turn when he was in the broadcast booth watching the game and talking about the events of the day.
Jagr Honored By Penguins In Retirement Ceremony
Despite still playing in his home nation of Czechia Jaromir Jagr's NHL days are done. As a result the Pittsburgh Penguins were able to give him a proper celebration. The celebration culminated in his jersey retirement.
After having the ceremony completed Jagr left the ice and the game began. During the game Jagr joined the Penguins broadcast team. During his appearance on television Jagr made an unfortunate slip up.
Jagr Drops The F-Word On Television
While watching the game in the booth the Los Angeles Kings got a grade a scoring chance. This left the Penguins scrambling and looking like they'd concede a goal. Jagr like any anxious fan slipped up and dropped a curse word.
While the slip-up ended up not being a huge deal it was likely not ideal for the television network. Jagr was able to celebrate his night and be shown all the love he deserved by the fans in Pittsburgh.
