PK Subban was on ESPN yesterday ahead of the Bruins-Panthers game five. He talked about Sam Bennett's hit on Brad Marchand, saying how it knocked him out of the series.

The segment was taking another look at a hit from game four of the series between the Bruins and Panthers. A new angle of the play emerged, showing Sam Bennet punching Marchand in the head on the play. Marchand did not return to the game, nor did he participate in game five tonight. Subban called it the moment he was knocked out of the series, which seems rather obvious since he did not take another shift after the play.

The response to this segment was pretty much universal. Many fans took to social media to criticize Subban for the comments, since he said that Marchand deserved to be injured on a play that was very much dirty from Sam Bennett.

I'm very happy to say PK Subban sucks. To say this about any player is gross

His comments are particularly disturbing as we do not know exactly what Marchand is dealing with. However, there is a good chance he could be dealing with a concussion, a very serious condition, especially for professional athletes, many of whom have had repeated concussions.

"Probably a long time coming for Marchand" is a really gross thing to say about a brain injury. I don't care who it is.

Subban reposted the original post that was criticizing him in an attempt to draw more attention to himself. While that may have worked, he was ratioed by the original poster, embarrassing the former Norris trophy winner.

This is just who PK Subban is though. He has no filter and will frequently say absurd and inappropriate things on television to draw attention to himself.
