Footage of the Milan Olympics arena leak publicly: fans are concerned

After years away from the international game, the NHL returned to the big stage with a bang at the Four Nations Face Off, but that was hopefully just a taste of things to come from the NHL.

The biggest event of all was set to be the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan, and with so many teams preparing to bring their best, it's set to be a can't miss event for hockey fans around the world.

However, one major issue that has been raised has been the arena in Milan, with reports of fears that the arena won't be finished in time for the NHL to return to best-on-best action at the Olympics.

Those fears were not eased by the latest footage of the arena, with TSN's Darren Dreger posting on social media an insight look at the venue, with still plenty of work to done before February's tournament.

The post has been re-posted, and clearly, fans are very frustrated and worried about the lack of improvement in the arena for the event, with fears growing that things may not end up going ahead as planned.

The IIHF and the IOC are both very confident that construction will be finished, and with the tournament still two months away, there's plenty of time for things to be completed, but until that becomes official, it appears as though fears over the event won't be lifted.
