The Utica Comets took aim at Habs prospect Cole Caufield with a tweet this evening.
The tweet singled out Caufield for a poor performance in the first period.
The Comets are affiliated with the New Jersey Devils who are known for having one of the more interactive Twitter accounts, but how do you feel about this kind of interaction? Are you for it? Against it? Does it help the game or hurt it?
I personally love fan interaction, but calling out a player directly doesn't seem like an appropriate approach for an AHL team.
Edit: Utica deleted the tweet but we've saved an image.
