Jack Hughes has just signed a new contract.
According to Elliotte Friedman the deal is for 8 years and has an 8 million dollar AAV.
Hughes has 54 career points in 119 career games. This is definitely the Devil's betting big that Hughes will develop into a top line talent but if he doesn't this deal is going to age poorly and fast.
