Jaromir Jagr has been fighting very hard to raise money for the people of Ukraine. He has been holding charity games, moving arena's for a larger capacity, making public announcements for donations etc..
This is something truly amazing done by the league and Bettman. In a world where sports players are making millions, $68,000 might not seem like a lot, but during times of war and to families who need money, $68,000 can change a life.
Good on you Bettman, good on you NHL!
We salute Jaromir Jagr (@68Jagr) for his generosity and commitment to improve the lives of Ukrainians displaced from their homes.
We are proud to support the cause and will be donating $68,000 to the fundraising effort.
