The Zach Fucale story took a long time to come together but it truly feels like Fucale is right where he's meant to be.
Fucale led the Capitals to a 2-0 victory over the Detroit Red Wings in his NHL debut.
Fucale recently took to his Instagram page to reflect on the moment and the journey.
For any young player looking for the mindset it takes to make it to the NHL, this is someone you should be looking up to. Fucale understood his NHL journey was a marathon and not a sprint. He found the things that motivated him and he made his dream come true when so many people wrote him off.
Congrats Zach Fucale and we look forward to seeing you in an NHL net again soon.
