One thing is for certain, with all the offseason moves the Flyers made, they were not supposed to be a Metro division bottom feeder at this time of year. Unfortunately for the Flyers a mix of injuries, COVID and just lack of play has put this team at the bottom of the Metro and captain Claude Giroux seems to have had enough.
We heard rumours last week that Giroux had yet to discuss anything with his General Manager about if he wanted to leave the Flyers or not, but it seems that with the teams lack of success he is ready to go somewhere else to chase a cup.
The good news is, Giroux is on an expiring contract, so if his heart really is in Philly, he can return in the offseason and hope that the return's they get for him and other offseason moves they can make will have the Flyers ready to compete next season!
