Rod Brind'Amour tears into the Hurricanes after roller coaster loss to the Canadiens
After their roller-coaster style loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, Carolina Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour tore into the team for their lackluster speech.
The Montreal Canadiens beat the Carolina Hurricanes 7-5 last night in what was nothing short of a roller-coaster style game, and head coach Rod Brind'Amour was extremely unhappy with how his team performed.
Not only did the Hurricanes allow seven goals to the Habs, but they also committed several costly turnovers, which Brind'Amour ripped after the game.

Even though the Hurricanes are missing multiple players because of injuries, Brind'Amour expressed doubt on whether his message was getting through to the players.
Yeah. It's pretty obvious when you watch. Obviously we're missing a lot of really important pieces, so when that happens, you have to double down on what we're doing and we're going the other way and trying to do too much. Like, 'Oh, he's out, so I'm going to do twice the amount of stuff,' and it doesn't work. That's what has plagued us here. It's pretty obvious when you watch it. We have deficiencies and they're starting to show. We've held on a for a long, long time. Just watch. It's obvious. - Rod Brind'Amour
Rod Brind'Amour Has Been Coach Of The Hurricanes For Several Years
Brind'Amour, who helped lead the Hurricanes to two separate appearances in the Stanley Cup Final during his playing career, was named head coach of the team in 2018.
He's lead them to two appearances in the Eastern Conference Final, which resulted both times in losses to the Florida Panthers.
He's won a total of 349 NHL games with Carolina.
