Milan Lucic Shares His True Thoughts on Returning to Boston
Milan Lucic has spoken about his return to the Boston Bruins, expressing his gratitude at his return to the organization he started his NHL Career with.
Lucic speaks on playing for Bruins again
Lucic will return to the Boston Bruins, the team that drafted him in the 2006 NHL Draft, having played 8 seasons for the club, winning a Stanley Cup in 2011 with the Bruins before departing in 2015.
Lucic speaks openly about his feelings being in Boston
Lucic spoke about his return to wearing the Boston jersey for the first time in nearly a decade, saying that Being a member of the Bruins is a chance he's proud to have back.
"It's always felt like I've been a Bruin, and I'm just so happy and thankful for the opportunity to be a Bruin again"
As well in an interview with
Sportsnet, Lucic expressed his thankfulness for his return to the Bruins.
I spent eight years there, was drafted there and won a championship there. To have this opportunity to go back, I don't even know if there's words that express it.
Lucic, 35, has expressed the potential of his nearing retirement, as have fellow Bruins teammates Patrice Bergeron & David Krejci, but for now, Lucic appears only focused on the chance to wear Boston jersey at least one more time.
