Evander Kane officially gets scratched for the biggest game of his life
The Edmonton Oilers are currently down 3-0 to the Florida Panthers and have scratched Evander Kane for the biggest game of his life.
Through the Edmonton Oilers' deep playoff run, something has seemed off about Evander Kane. The veteran forward has not been scoring at his typical rate and has looked to be hurt a lot of the time.
It was just announced that Kane will be missing game four of the Stanley Cup Finals after missing game three.
No Evander Kane for the Oilers again, tonight.
In addition to Kane being out, defenseman Darnell Nurse is drawing back in for the Oilers.
Warmups have started for Game 4. No Evander Kane. He is out for second straight game. Darnell Nurse is on the ice. Healthy enough after playing 19:02 in Game 3 to give it a go again. No changes expected for FLA.
We will likely have to wait till the finals are over to get word on if Kane was hurt this playoff run but as it stands, something certainly seems to be off.
