The NHL made a surprise announcement this afternoon, revealing that two games after the Four Nations break have been rescheduled.
The Four Nations faceoff tournament is nearly over, with the final between the USA and Canada to be played tomorrow night at 8PM EST.
Every team in the league will have Friday off as well, but action resumes on Saturday with 28 teams in action in the first night back from the break.
The tournament has certainly been highly entertaining and the final should be the best game of them all, with so much hype and drama coming into it.
For fans that aren't interested in the tournament, we will be back to our regularly scheduled programing in just a few days.
However, it should be noted that the NHL has made some schedule changes for games later this month.
The NHL announced changes for two games to be played next Thursday, February 27th.
The Oilers and Panthers, who are playing in Florida, have had the puck drop time move up to 7PM EST
Meanwhile, the Flyers and Penguins, who will be in Pittsburgh that night, have had their puck drop moved back to 7:30PM EST.
"Game #937, Edmonton Oilers at Florida Panthers, scheduled for Feb. 27, will now begin at 7 p.m. ET.
Game #938, Philadelphia Flyers at Pittsburgh Penguins, scheduled for Feb. 27, will now begin at 7:30 p.m. ET."
Hopefully these changes in game start time will not affect fans who are planning on watching or attending the games.
