Rumor of Bruins Center Coming Out Of Retirement Circulate
Despite significant losses at center this offseason with the retirement of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, the Bruins look as strong as ever as they sit atop the Atlantic division with a 9-1-1 record.
That being said, the team could still use help down the middle and fans are speculating and hoping that one Bruins legend will come back to help after he was seen hanging out with his former teammates.
Krejci Spotted Golfing With Pastrnak
The aforementioned David Krejci was seen golfing with countryman and former teammate
David Pastrnak. A picture of them sitting in a golf cart together quickly made its rounds across hockey social media.
Notably, Krejci has already left the Bruins and returned once before. He spent the 2021-22 season playing in Czechia before returning to Boston last season.
This year he has not been active in any league, but the Bruins would be foolish not to welcome him back.
The 37-year-old was still a valuable contributor to the team last season and his production level really has not fallen off as one would expect from a player of his age. With the Bruins short on center depth, perhaps he will be asked to lace them up one more time.
