Patrik Laine's Father Passes Away

Today if was announced that Harri Laine, father of Patrik Laine passed away at the age of 54. The Columbus Blue Jackets issued the following statement on Patrik's behalf.
Patrik often credited his father with his success and tells a story that he would have never played professionally if it weren't for the advice his father gave him at 12 years old about dedication and effort.
We at Wheel House Hockey offer Patrik and his family our sincerest condolences during this difficult time.
