After their 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild, Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski let loose and said that he was sick and tired of losing, and enough is enough.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have only appeared in the postseason on a handful of occasions, with the most recent being in the NHL's postseason bubble in 2020.
Franchise defenseman Zach Werenski, who has 29 games of playoff experience, made it clear after the Blue Jackets lost yesterday 5-2 to the Minnesota Wild that he's getting sick and tired of losing.
He felt so strongly about it and even described their current losing situation as "outrageous".
I feel like it's the same thing we've been saying. We're playing well enough to win, but it's getting old that we keep losing. Enough is enough. It's unacceptable, and I get the whole thing where you have to stay positive and move forward, but at the end of the day this is getting outrageous. We're a good hockey team, and we're losing games. So maybe we're not a good hockey team. I don't know. At the end of the day you have to win games to be a good team. It's frustrating. - Zach Werenski
So far this year, Werenski has been one of the most productive defensemen in the NHL with 38 points (13G, 25A).

The Blue Jackets Are In Last Place In The Metropolitan Division

After their 5-2 loss yesterday to the Minnesota Wild, the Blue Jackets dropped further in the standings and are now in eighth place in the Metropolitan Division standings.
They trail the Pittsburgh Penguins by three points, who also have a game in hand over them.
Werenski still has two years left on his contract beyond this one with an AAV (average annual value) of $9,583,333.
