Flyers broadcaster Tim Saunders has issued an apology after a hot mic caught him making an inappropriate comment while on the air, for which he was suspended.

Philadelphia Flyers broadcaster Tim Saunders, who works for the local affiliate 97.5 The Fanatic, was caught making an inappropriate during last night's game against the Buffalo Sabres.
The Flyers announced that he's now been suspended for two games while they address the matter with all involved, and now, Saunders is issuing an apology for what he said while promising that he'll hold himself to a higher standard going forward.
During last night's game in Buffalo,I made an error in judgement with my comments that were made when I thought we were in a commercial break. I recognize how offensive my remarks were, and the harm it has caused. I take full responsibility and sincerely apologize to the Flyers, 97.5 The Fanatic and all those affected by my remarks.

The Flyers Suspended Tim Saunders For Two Games For His Inappropriate Hot-Mic Comments

Earlier this morning, the Flyers released a statement on their X account saying they're aware of Saunders' comments and that they do not reflect their code of conduct.
These remarks do not reflect the standards of conduct or values from anyone associated with our organization. Effective immediately, the Flyers, along with our radio partners, 97.5 The Fanatic, have issued a two-game suspension while we address this matter with all parties involved.

Saunders will miss the Flyers' next two games against the New York Rangers and the Vancouver Canucks.
