Per analyst Jimmy Murphy, the Boston Bruins have been very interested in acquiring Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson, but he's not willing to extend with them.

The Calgary Flames aren't anywhere near a playoff spot, and several of their players are reportedly up for grabs in trade rumours.
The most visible player being mentioned in rumours up front is Nazem Kadri, and the most visible player on the back end is Rasmus Andersson.
There are reportedly several teams interested in Andersson, including the Boston Bruins, who have reportedly been very keen on acquiring him.
But per a new report from NHL analyst Jimmy Murphy, Andersson is not willing to sign an extension with the Bruins.
Murphy writes that he's heard from trusted anonymous sources of Andersson's unwillingness to sign an extension with Boston if he were to be traded there:
They're pretty much out on him.

Unless Andersson changes his mind and says he will entertain a contract extension with them, or they make an incredible offer and (Flames GM) Craig Conroy can't resist, he's not going there. As of now, he's not signing an extension with the Bruins. - Anonymous Source

Murphy then wrote that another source indicated that there were offers for Andersson from three different teams, and listed what the Bruins were allegedly offering in return.
Keep an eye on the Senators, Bruins, and Red Wings.

The Bruins made an offer. I'm hearing that Mason Lohrei and the Bruins' first-round pick are in play. - Anonymous source

So far this year, Andersson has 29 points (10G, 19A) in 47 games.

Rasmus Andersson Is In The Last Year Of His Contract With The Flames

Andersson, who was taken by the Flames with the 53rd overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, has played his entire NHL career in a Flames sweater.
The Flames have not made the playoffs since advancing to the Western Conference Semifinal against the divisional foe Edmonton Oilers in 2022, which was followed by the blockbuster trade involving Matthew Tkachuk and Jonathan Huberdeau.
