Today, the Devils have announced that they have placed forward Juho Lammikko and defenseman Colton White on waivers, and they both have 24 hours to clear, be claimed, or otherwise be sent to the AHL.
In 22 games this year, Lammikko had two assists for the Devils, and White has four assists in 23 games played.
Both Lammikko And White Had NHL Experience Before This Season Began
Lammikko, who had spent the last three years playing for the ZSC Lions of the Swiss National League, was taken with the 65th overall pick by the Florida Panthers in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
He'd later go back to his native Finland to play with Oulun Karpat of the Liiga before coming back to the Panthers; he was eventually traded to the Vancouver Canucks in 2021 with Noah Juulsen for Olli Juolevi.
This past June, he signed a one year deal with the Devils.
White was taken 97th overall by the Devils in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, and played several years in the organization before signing with the Anaheim Ducks in 2022.
He then returned to the Devils with a two year, two way contract in 2024.
