There wasn't much action on the NHL Waiver wire today, but the Minnesota Wild have decided to put veteran forward Tyler Pitlick up for grabs, and he now has 24 hours to clear, be claimed or otherwise be sent to the American Hockey League.

The NHL career of veteran forward Tyler Pitlick is taking another turn, as he was placed on waivers today by the Minnesota Wild.
He now has 24 hours to clear waivers, be claimed by another one of the 31 other NHL teams, or he'll be sent to Minnesota's American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Wild.
Pitlick has played in 23 games in a Wild sweater so far this year but has just one goal.

Minnesota Wild Forward Tyler Pitlick Has Played Over 400 NHL Games

Pitlick was taken with the 31st overall pick by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft while playing for the Minnesota State Mavericks of the WCHA, and then would play a full year for the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers.
He then moved on to play for what was Edmonton's former American Hockey League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Barons, before eventually making his debut with the Oilers in 2013-14. He played in 10 games, scoring once.
In 2017, he left the Oilers to sign a three year deal with the Dallas Stars, and he's played for multiple franchises since then, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues and New York Rangers.
He played last year with the Providence Bruins, the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins.
In 443 career NHL games, Pitlick has 110 points (57G, 53A).
