Nazem Kadri has been a fantastic Calgary Flame, but with the teams struggles, he has reportedly told them he is open to being traded.
The Calgary Flames have been one of the worst teams in the National Hockey League this season, and given how many fans expect them to build for the future, more trades from them are expected ahead of the 2026 trade deadline.
Already the team have moved Rasmus Andersson in a deal with the Vegas Golden Knights, and with other veterans likely on the way out, this team could bottom out and try to reach their goal of a top-three pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.

For the most part, the rest of the Flames rumours have surrounded both Nazem Kadri and Blake Coleman, and now, according to reports, the former may be on the way out of Calgary in the very near future.
In his latest piece, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period has now officially revealed that Kadri informed the Flames he is open to being traded, and given their struggles and the Andersson trade, this shouldn't come as any major surprise.
In his time with the Flames, Kadri has put up 97 goals and 233 points in 298 games played, and given the competitive fire and his physical play across all 200ft of ice, it's easy to see why a contending team would like to land Kadri.
As of right now, it doesn't appear as though anything is imminent, but with the Flames struggling and interest in Kadri around the league, if a deal is to be made, it could come together quickly in the coming weeks.
