Matthew Tkachuk makes surprising comments after Panthers Game 4 blowout loss
Coming into last night's Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals the Panthers were looking to close out the series but got blown out instead and after the game Matthew Tkachuk spoke to the media.
Many people assumed that the Florida Panthers were going to easily roll through Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals and take home the championship last night. In a surprising turn of events that did not happen. Instead the Edmonton Oilers put on an offensive clinic.
First up came a short-handed goal from Oilers forward Mattias Janmark. The goal would put the Oilers in front in the first period.

Matthew Tkachuk remains surprisingly confident despite blowout loss to the Oilers
The Florida Panthers superstar spoke to the media after the game. Instead of talking about their disappointing game he instead mentioned the good position they still find themselves in.
We're in an unbelievable spot right now," said Tkachuk in spite of the loss. We came here and after all that craziness got a split. Now we're going home [to play] in front of our unbelievable fans. They're so excited to see us and we're so excited to play in front of them again.
He then spoke about his goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. Until this point in the series, Sergei Bobrovsky had been legendary. Matthew Tkachuk made sure to mention that the poor statistical performance for Sergei Bobrovsky was the team's fault and not on the goalie.
We gave up eight goals and zero of them were the goalies' fault,
The Florida Panthers will now travel back home and get to play Game 5 in front of their home fans. They still have a big lead in the series and remain one win away from their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
