Marc-André Fleury's agent Allan Walsh hinted at the goalie's potential return to the NHL in a shocking post.
Marc-André Fleury announced his retirement from the NHL following a disappointing playoff exit against the Vegas Golden Knights.
After confirming the end of his NHL career, the player didn't believe it was over, and truly seemed interested in remaining a bit longer in the hockey world:
"Just, I don't know, still a little unbelievable that it's over. Twenty years went by so quick, right?"
"I feel like I'll have to try different things, see what (Wild general manager Bill Guerin) has in mind, maybe if he has something for me. I think I know goalies better, but I don't want to be a coach. I don't want to do media, no TV, nothing like that. I don't know. If I can help the younger guys maybe in some ways, that could be fun too."
Later, Fleury confirmed that he still had the desire to compete for a hockey team at a high level by joining Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, Macklin Celebrini, and many more at the World Championship in Sweden and Denmark.

After watching him have fun on the ice and perform at this level, many believe the goaltender could be interested in coming back for another campaign in the NHL.
