As hockey fans, we all love to see a little bit of aggression and fighting in our beautiful sport, but something we never want to see, and teach to our youth is violence with your stick.
A hockey stick is basically a weapon, it can cause some serious harm to someone if you hit them hard enough and there is a reason that any stick infraction in hockey is a penalty.
In the video below, you will see two youth players who can't be any older than 10. One has a significant height advantage over the other player, and after getting pushed around a little bit, the smaller kid in white had enough and when the player in black is skating away, the kid in white two-hand chops him in the head with his stick.
While obviously no one was hurt in the video, this is though a chance to set an example for this kid and give him a lengthy suspension to show him how wrong of a move this was.
