Elias Pettersson's wife may have just leaked his next team

Katelyn Byrd, the wife of Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson, shared a story on Instagram this week revealing she found a new home in Los Angeles and will be splitting her time between the city and Vancouver going forward.

The post showed a stunning beach sunset with the caption noting how happy she is to be moving back home part time.

It didn't take long for fans and hockey accounts to connect the dots and wonder whether this means Pettersson himself will be spending more time in Southern California during the offseason.

Byrd grew up in Wyoming before relocating to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue modeling, and she's built a career there in real estate and business ventures on top of her social media presence.

She and Pettersson quietly married in Sweden last summer, and the couple has been through a lot together, including a public miscarriage announcement this past December that drew an outpouring of support from around the hockey world.
