WATCH: Fans throw GARBAGE at Ron MacLean - while live on air

Yesterday is was announced that after a long time with Hockey Night in Canada, Ron MacLean might be getting canned after the broadcast hitting an all time new low for viewers.

Last night after game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning, MacLean was talking about the Avalanche's overtime victory on the Sportsnet panel and a fan took the perfect opportunity to throw garbage at him!

After his betrayal of long-time friend and co-host Don Cherry, MacLeans popularity has taken a significant hit. Judging by these comments on Twitter, it seems like fans are officially done with him and want him off the air.
