Patrick Kane Rumored to Be Close to a Deal With Sabres
Patrick Kane is the hottest UFA to remain unsigned, and several teams could benefit from his scoring. Despite coming into the latter part of his career, Kane would be a fit for several teams looking to add veteran depth to their roster, and leadership experience who knows how to win a cup.
Now, it has been rumoured online that Kane is extremely close to signing a deal in his hometown of Buffalo.
It's going to happen sometime this week. Patrick Kane will sign with the Buffalo Sabres; two two-year deal in the $3.5-$4M per season range.
Rumours of Kane signing in Buffalo have been making their way around since the beginning of the summer. With Kane's training in Toronto, he has chosen to stay close to Buffalo instead of heading home to Chicago.
Kane Looking Good During Injury Rehab After Surgery
Kane has been recovering from double hip surgery this offseason, which is the primary reason that he remains unsigned. He was taking his time to recover, and was still out during training camp. Now, he has taken a good look at the standings and who he thinks he can help best, and it appears to be the Buffalo Sabres.
i am not sure if this is true. but if it is, the Sabres signing Patrick Kane will be one of the most monumental things to ever happen to Buffalo sports, whether you like it or not.
