In breaking news, Peter Chiarelli is set to make his return to the NHL with this Canadian team.
Ottawa Senators Set to Hire Peter Chiarelli
As reported by Brent Wallace, Peter Chiarelli is expected to be joining the Ottawa Senators in his return to the NHL.
According to Brent Wallace on

, Peter Chiarelli will be joining the Ottawa Senators.
"We all know he has close ties to Michael Andlauer, I think you're going to see Peter Chiarelli apart of this organization" 👀
It is not announced what position Chiarelli will take on in his return to being an NHL executive. Pierre Dorion is definitely not on the longest string with new ownership, but it's unlikely that they will switch GMs at this point before the season. However, hiring Chiarelli in an executive position, under new ownership, does hint at a new era in Ottawa.
