Alex DeBrincat has officially been traded after just one year in Ottawa.
DeBrincat Heading To Detroit
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has revealed some massive news regarding Alex DeBrincat and where he will be traded to.
Detroit is DeBrincat's hometown team and the team he grew up cheering for as a Michigan native. He will be playing with another Michigan native in
Dylan Larkin on the top line for the Red Wings.
DeBrincat is a two time 40 goal scorer and is coming off a year where he scored 27 goals and 66 points with the Senators.
The return is Dominik Kubalik, a 2024 1st round pick, a prospect, and a 4th round pick.
DeBrincat has already signed an extension with the Red Wings worth $7.875m per year for the next four years.
