On Sunday, it was announced that 23 players have been placed on the waiver wire by their respective NHL teams, including 5 along from the Montreal Canadiens.
These players will be available to all other teams in the NHL, if they claim them before 2PM tomorrow.

All of the above players will have 24 hours to clear waivers or they will be assigned down to the AHL.
Multiple Big Days on Waivers in a Row as the Regular Season Approaches
Sunday's lengthy list of players placed on waivers were only the latest names to hit the waiver wire.
Among the names who have previously been placed on waivers are Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender
Ivan Fedotov, who was recently acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers.
Additionally, the Utah Mammoth waived goaltender
Connor Ingram; both players have since cleared and have been sent to the AHL.
