Brady Tkachuk's Injury Fate Confirmed for Tomorrow's Game
Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk's status for his team's next game has just been updated.
Brady Tkachuk was a big part of Team USA at the Four Nations tournament.
He scored big goals, including one in the final, and got into one of the most famous fights in recent history to boot.
Similarly, his brother Matthew
could be out for the season due to an injury he sustained during the tournament, which forced him out of the final after just 6 minutes of ice time.
Unlike Matthew though, Brady's injury was not that serious, and it now appears as though he is set to return to NHL action.
By his own admission, he is ready to return to the team as they take on the San Jose Sharks tomorrow.
"I'm feeling good and I'm ready to go tomorrow. I'm excited to get back with the boys. It's uncontrollable when you're in the room and not on the bench. You want to be on the ice. I'm happy that I'm over this. Every day has felt better. I skated (on Thursday), and (Friday) I really pushed. I treated it as a game situation and felt good. That was just the last hurdle to clear."
It was equally confirmed by his head coach.
This will be the first game Tkachuk has played in since the Four Nations tournament concluded. He missed the last two.
Brady has 21 goals and 44 points in 56 games with the Senators this season. He has 183 career goals and 393 points in 496 games since making his debut in the 2018-19 season.
