'So sick of this': Leafs fans show their frustration as team continues to hide Stolarz injury details
Toronto Maple Leafs fans are frustrated with the lack of details surrounding the injury to goaltender Anthony Stolarz, who hasn't played in over a month now.
There was no update from Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube on the condition of goaltender Anthony Stolarz, who hasn't played now in over a month.
The lack of concrete details is leaving some Maple Leafs fans frustrated, as many of them feel like they should be let in on some more information surrounding their team's goalie.
Some fans are even taking aim at the Maple Leafs' medical staff.
The Maple Leafs Will Have To Move Forward With Joseph Woll For The Time Being
With Stolarz unavailable now apparently for an indefinite period of time, the Maple Leafs are going to have to rely on Joseph Woll.
In the absence of Stolarz, they have also called up Dennis Hildeby from the American Hockey League affiliate Toronto Marlies.
But Woll missed several weeks while attending to a family matter, and he also missed multiple games because of an injury.
The Maple Leafs have been anything but healthy, as they've had several players miss multiple games because of injury including Auston Matthews, Brandon Carlo, and Chris Tanev.
Tanev was able to come back into the Leafs lineup for the first time in several weeks for their most recent game, a 6-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
But for the time being, it looks like Stolarz will not be back on the ice with the team any time soon.
