The Minnesota Wild and Tampa Bay Lightning have made early-morning trade, swapping Mikey Milne for Boris Katchouk.

The Wild, only a few weeks removed from making one of the biggest trades of the salary cap era; trading 2024 13th overall pick Zeev Buium, former top-10 pick Marco Rossi, former first-rounder Liam Ohgren, and a first round pick in 2026 in exchange for Quinn Hughes, have now made another move.
They've traded Mikey Milne, who's on their AHL team in Iowa, and has only played one NHL game since being drafted by the team in the third round of the 2022 draft. In exchange, Tampa Bay has sent Boris Katchouk, a left-winger with nearly 200 games of NHL experience.
Drafted by the Lightning in 2016, Katchouk has bounced around the league, playing a few years in Chicago, one in Ottawa, and then returning to Tampa Bay. He is also currently in the AHL.
More to come.
