Morgan Rielly's future in Toronto in doubt after latest insider report

A new report from NHL insider Jeff Marek has revealed that veteran defenseman Morgan Rielly's tenure in Toronto is likely coming to an end soon.
The Toronto Maple Leafs underwent significant changes this summer including a General Manager change firing Brad Treliving replacing him with John Chayka.
With Chayka in charge, the Maple Leafs are heading into a new era of the franchise which likely means big changes to the roster.
According to a new report, veteran star Morgan Rielly is likely the first big name to be moved out by Chayka in the coming weeks.
Toronto Maple Leafs reportedly ready to finally trade Morgan Rielly
According to insider Jeff Marek, the Maple Leafs have been exploring trades involving Morgan Rielly.
Starting with Kyle Dubas and then continued on to Brad Treliving and now John Chayka the one constant that has remained is the Maple Leafs desire to move on from Rielly.

While the Maple Leafs seem to have continued desire to trade Rielly, the lack of deals in the past seem to indicate that the trade market for Rielly is not strong.
With Chayka in charge, it will be interesting to see if the Maple Leafs can finally get a deal done involving Rielly to finally re-shape their defensive unit and truly re-tool the roster.
