Josh Anderson called out the Canadiens after Montreal blew a 4-0 lead and lost 5-4 in overtime to the Jets, saying only Jacob Fowler played well.
Josh Anderson did not hold back after one of the wildest nights of the Montreal Canadiens season.
The Habs coughed up a 4-0 lead late in the third period and fell 5-4 in overtime to the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday at the Bell Centre, and Anderson pointed the finger at the room afterward.
He said a lot of players, himself included, need to take a long, honest look at their own game.
He called the result unacceptable and singled out Jacob Fowler as the only Canadien who played well.
“At the end of the day, I think a lot of guys gotta look at themselves in the mirror after what happened, including myself. It's unacceptable.”

Fowler kept Montreal in front
Anderson had a point. Montreal's goalie gave them every chance.
Fowler made 42 saves and stopped the first 37 shots he faced, coming within 2:39 of his second shutout in three games, before the Jets finally broke through.
Then it all came apart. Tyrel Bauer scored with 2:39 left in regulation, and the Jets added three more goals to force overtime.
Dylan Samberg finished the comeback 3:30 into the extra frame, ending Winnipeg's nine-game losing streak.
Gabriel Vilardi started the winning play by taking the puck from Lane Hutson along the boards.
Anderson's message lands hard
Anderson scored his seventh goal of the season in this one, so the criticism comes from someone who produced on the night.
That makes it tougher for teammates to brush off.
It also stings because the Canadiens had won five in a row and still sit at 9-3-3 with a point in each of their last eight games.
Now the Habs have to show this was a one-night blip.
For a team that looked so locked in lately, the response will say plenty.
