Jacob Fowler looked furious leaving the ice after the Canadiens blew a 4-0 lead to the Jets in a 5-4 overtime loss, and it seemed aimed at his teammates.

Jacob Fowler did not hide his frustration Tuesday night.
The Canadiens goalie left the ice at the Bell Centre visibly unhappy after Montreal let a 4-0 lead disappear in the final 2:39 of regulation and lost 5-4 in overtime to the Winnipeg Jets.
Fowler had been the reason Montreal was even in front.
He stopped 42 shots, 19 of them in the second period, and a glove save on Cole Perfetti with 4:34 left kept the shutout alive.
Cole Caufield scored twice, his second early in the third period making it 4-0.
The game looked over.

How the lead vanished

Rookie defenseman Tyrel Bauer scored his first NHL goal with 2:39 left, and Morgan Barron made it 4-2 at 18:03.
Kyle Connor then scored twice 27 seconds apart with the goalie pulled, the second on the power play, tying it with 33 seconds remaining. Four goals in 2:06.
Dylan Samberg finished it with a wrist shot past Fowler at 3:30 of overtime.
It was the latest four-goal comeback in NHL history, and it snapped a nine-game losing streak for Winnipeg, now 5-8-3.

Fowler had every right to be mad

Fowler skated off looking like a goalie who felt let down by the guys in front of him, and that is hard to argue with.
He stood on his head for nearly 57 minutes.
Head coach Martin St. Louis admitted Winnipeg was the better team overall, and Caufield said the group assumed the game was already won.
Fowler is the NHL's rookie of the month for October, and he gave Montreal every chance to win.
This loss belongs to the skaters.
