Once again, the Los Angeles Kings are going to be without veteran forward Corey Perry as he has left the team to deal with a personal family matter as they announced earlier today.

The Los Angeles Kings have a major matchup ahead of them tonight as they play the division-best Vegas Golden Knights tonight at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.
But the Kings will not have the senior-most forward on their roster for tonight, as they announced that veteran Corey Perry is unavailable because he'll be tending to a personal family matter.
Per Kings analyst Zach Dooley, there is an ill family member of Perry's, and he's returning home to be with them.
The LAKings will be without forward Corey Perry tonight, unfortunately had to return home to attend to an illness in the family.

We hope that whoever Perry's family member is, that they're able to make a recovery from whatever is ailing them.

Former Anaheim Ducks Forward Corey Perry Is In His First Year With The Kings

Perry, who played the first several years of his career with the divisional foe Anaheim Ducks and won a Stanley Cup in 2007, signed with the Kings this summer after having played a handful of years with the Edmonton Oilers.
Perry and the Oilers went to two straight Stanley Cup Final appearances, but lost both times to the Florida Panthers.
Perry has lost five straight times now in the Cup Final with four different teams, including the Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
So far this year, Perry has 23 points (10G, 13A) in 37 games.
