Buffalo Sabres ownership reportedly sold the team
In breaking news today, it has been reported that Terry Pegula, owner of the Buffalo Sabres, has sold the team along with the other assets under ownership.
The Buffalo Sabres have had a tumultuous season, and it looks like the drama is continuing. It has now been reported that Terry Pegula, owner of the Buffalo Sabres along with the Buffalo Bandits (NLL) and Buffalo Bills (NFL), has sold the Sabres.
According to multiple sources, the Buffalo Bandits, Buffalo Sabres, Rochester Americans, and Rochester Knighthawks are going to be sold.
"Everything but the Bills," one source said.
The process means that new ownership will come in for the Sabres, right in the middle of their rebuild. It is not known who will be the purchasers of the Sabres and how long that process will take.
More details to come when they are released.
