Tom Wilson riding shotgun with McDavid and Celebrini is a move nobody saw coming for the Milan games.

It's a bold gamble to put the Capitals' heavy hitter on the top line.
Wilson has 49 points in 50 games this season and he's playing the best hockey of his life.
He's a wrecking ball who hunts for pucks and clears space for the superstars.
But putting him over some of the flashier names is a massive statement from the coaching staff.
He's got 23 goals already and he's proved he can finish when the stars find him.
He's there to keep the pests away and let the wizards work.

The Suzuki promotion to the second line changes the dynamic

Seeing Suzuki on the second line next to MacKinnon and Marchand is a major shift.
The Habs captain has 65 points in 57 games and he's a plus-25 machine right now.
He's finally getting the respect he earned by leading a young Montreal squad.
But he's playing wing instead of center which shows how deep this roster actually is.
Suzuki is the guy who does the dirty work and keeps the puck on a string in the offensive zone.
He's a bargain for this roster and he's playing like a grizzled vet.
Canada is betting on grit and chemistry over pure star power and it's going to be a wild ride.
