Team USA forward Matthew Tkachuk trolled Team Germany forward Leon Draisaitl during today’s game over the results of the last two Stanley Cup Finals, in which Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers beat Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers.
Team USA is having no problem with Team Germany in the Olympics today, as they lead comfortably 5-0 in the third period.
But there was a moment of tension during the third period in which a few old rivals reignited the fierceness of competitive hockey

As you remember, it has been Tkachuk and the Panthers who have beaten Draisaitl and the Oilers in each of the last two Stanley Cup Finals.

Tkachuk And The Panthers Beat Draisaitl And The Panthers Twice In A Row In The Stanley Cup Final
Tkachuk and the Panthers have gone to the last three Stanley Cup Finals, starting in 2023 with a loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.
But they've won the Stanley Cup in back to back years in 2024 and 2025, beating the Oilers both times.
Even though Draisaitl is known as one of the best players in the NHL with multiple scoring awards, he'd likely admit to being willing to trade them all in exchange for just one of Tkachuk's Stanley Cups.
