Leon Draisaitl responds to Matthew Tkachuk after viral chirps

Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl is responding to the chirps from Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk during their recent matchup in the Olympics.
There were plenty of fireworks during a recent game in the Olympics between Team USA and Team Germany, as both teams have a pair of old rivals that have seen one another in each of the last two Stanley Cup Finals.
Team USA forward Matthew Tkachuk seemed to rub the fact that he and the Panthers have defeated Team Germany's Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers twice in a row now in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Now, Draisaitl is responding, saying it didn't really affect him.
Yeah that’s his game, he’s doing it well in his opinion. It doesn’t really reach me but the media always makes it bigger than it actually is. I can’t say anything else, [the chirps] don’t really interest me. - Leon Draisaitl
One thing is for sure though, Draisaitl definitely doesn't like that Tkachuk has two Cup rings compared to his zero.
Matthew Tkachuk And The Panthers Have Beaten The Oilers Twice In A Row In The Stanley Cup Final
For the first time since 2008 and 2009, the same two teams met in the Stanley Cup Final in consecutive years in 2024 and 2025, the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers.
And both times, it was Tkachuk and the Panthers who beat Draisaitl, Connor McDavid and the Oilers.
Right now, the Panthers have some serious work to do when the NHL schedule returns, as they're not currently in a playoff spot thanks to multiple devastating injuries to top players.
