Michael McLeod: A First-Round Pick by the Devils in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft
Before being taken by the Devils in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, McLeod won the OHL Cup and because of his contributions to the title, he was given the Tim Adams Memorial Trophy, which does to the OHL Cup's most valuable player.
He was then taken 12th overall by the Devils, and eventually became a regular in their lineup.
His career got off to a bad start in 2017 when he tore his meniscus in his left knee, which required weeks of physical rehabilitation.
In 2022-23, he had a career-best 26 points (4G, 22A) and even scored what would be the GWG in Game 7 of the ECQF against the divisional foe New York Rangers, taking a pass from
Ondrej Palat and undressing goalie
Igor Shesterkin:
Last year with Avangard Omsk, he had 13 points (3G, 10A) in 19 games.
