The Minnesota Wild are reportedly offering Danila Yurov and multiple first-round picks for Dylan Larkin, per Elliotte Friedman. Detroit hasn't said yes yet.

Minnesota is going all in on Dylan Larkin.
Elliotte Friedman reported Friday on Sportsnet that the Wild believe their offer is the strongest Larkin could get from any team on his list, and it centers on young forward Danila Yurov plus multiple first-round picks.
Detroit still hasn't made a move.
Friedman's working theory is that Larkin is sitting out because he thinks workable offers already exist and interim general manager Shawn Horcoff hasn't pulled the trigger.
The Red Wings suspended the 30-year-old center without pay on Oct. 29 after he told them he wouldn't suit up while his trade request plays out.

Why Yurov matters so much

Yurov is 22 and went 24th overall in the 2022 draft.
He signed with Minnesota in May 2025 after playing in the KHL, and he has started to heat up, scoring three goals over a four-game stretch in October.
Wild coach John Hynes has said he sees Yurov growing into a first or second line center.
The catch is that Detroit appears to want more than prospects and picks.
Friedman said on Oct. 22 that Yurov, a couple of picks and maybe another player had not been enough, and the Red Wings are reportedly after NHL-ready help in return.

Other suitors are lurking

Washington has started pushing too, with winger Ilya Protas expected to headline its package.
Friedman also thinks Larkin could tweak his ten-team list soon, since Florida, Vegas and Colorado look like long shots.
That could make things interesting for Minnesota.
If Larkin's options shrink, the Wild gain leverage, and Detroit may have to decide how much it truly values Yurov's upside against a 30-year-old center who has made it clear he's done in Hockeytown.
Someone is going to blink soon, and the Wild look more ready than anyone else to do it.
