Chicago Blackhawks announce passing of NHL legend Dennis Hall at 81

The hockey world has suffered another tragic loss this evening as the Chicago Blackhawks have announced the passing of Dennis Hull.
This evening, the Chicago Blackhawks have confirmed that Dennis Hull sadly passed away at the age of 81.
In a statement put out by the Blackhawks, the organization celebrated Hull and his incredible contributions to the Blackhawks organization and the NHL overall.
The Chicago Blackhawks are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dennis Hull earlier this morning. Dennis enjoyed a distinguished career built on scoring ability and consistency, leaving lasting contributions not only on the Blackhawks franchise, but the game itself.
Hull played 13 total seasons in the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Blackhawks of which 8 were played alongside his brother Hall of Famer Bobby Hull.
Dennis comes from an incredible hockey family including his brother and his nephew Brett Hull who is considered one of the greatest scorers in the history of the NHL.
In his post playing career, Hull became a media member and was the first color commentator for the San Jose Sharks in the 1990s.
In the wake of his passing, the hockey community have come together to remember and honor Hull for his impact on the game and the people who love the game.
Hull will be remembered not only for his incredible career on the ice but also the countless lives he impacted off of the ice as well.
