When we talk about an National Hockey League team being sold, one would probably assume and hope it's the Arizona Coyotes, but it's not.
The Nashville Predators joined the NHL in 1998 when Craig Leipold owned the organization. It was later sold in 2008 for $193 million to a group of businesses to keep the Predators in Nashville.
Over 10 years later, the franchise is now worth $680 million, and is potentially being sold to Bill Haslam who's net-worth is $2.3 billion.
