Today the Vegas Golden Knights announced that forward Jonathan Marchessault had entered NHL COVID protocol and would not be available for tonight's game against the Hurricanes.

Marchessault joins William Carrier in COVID protocol, but the real concern is the timeline of things. 10 days ago the Golden Knights played against the Ottawa Senators and as we now know Ottawa is involved in the NHL's first COVID shutdown of the season.
There is no way to link any potential exposures at this time but with a potential incubation period it will be interesting to see how everything ties together with some of the other teams the Senators played through their outbreak.
